Versa miles information inaccurate

Please share with me how to get the exercise app on the Versa to accurately show the miles. I ride about 10 miles everyday and although it shows the correct time I only get credit for about .5 miles.

 

The GPS tracking show me as a big blob of circles so it is recognizing the movement. Seriously, if I'm going to spin for 10 miles (according to the readout on the bike itself) I want to get credit for the distance. Anyone else have this issue or any advice ?  Also, it continuously shows connecting instead of connected although my phone is 4' away.

Could you please be more specific about what exercise would you like to log? Is it spinning or biking? You can select both exercises directly from your Versa. If you don't have them, you can add them by following the instructions provide in the help article How do I customize the exercises on my Fitbit device?.
