Versa miscounting floors climbed

I have noticed that when I go to the store 4 miles away where it is hilly, my versa is increasing the floor count. I had only registered 2 floor before I left and when I returned it was up to 20 floors. I never had this problem with my Blaze. I hope that Fit bit fixes this problem.

The tracker has an altimeter inside that measures changes in barometric pressure. A hilly area can cause false floors due to the change in pressure.

I understand that the Versa, et al, have altimeters in them, but I never had this problem with my Blaze. Why does it count floors when not exercising?
