After my Sony WF-1000 XM3 ear buds went through a software update, they no longer pair with my Fitbit Versa. Did a factory reset on the Versa, but still no pairing. The earbuds pair with my phone and tablet just fine. Any ideas on getting this connection restored?

First step @brdanner is to make sure the ear buds are not connected to the phone or tablet. You might need to turn their Bluetooth off.
Now when pairing, what happens? Do you get any error messages? I assume you know how to put the Ear Buds into their discovery mode.

Thank you for your reply, yes, I turned off all other devices, but when I attempt to “Add Audio Device”, it searches for about 45-60 seconds, then reports no device available. It worked for 8 months just fine, but the Sony Earbuds went through a major (3.0) firmware update, after which no success.
