Versa - no notifications, no sleep tracked, HR light not flashing, battery draining

Hi

I'm on my 5th fitbit, and recently bought the Versa which after a few hiccups initially has been trouble free.  Over the last couple of days the steps and cal count has not been working and I can see that this is linked to the issue to the Android app that is on the banner at the top of the page.  Over the last couple of days, slowly everything is starting to shut down, I have no notifications on my Versa, sleep isn't tracking, the HR light at the rear isn't functioning and therefore no HR recording in addition to the other issues.  Also, battery drains within 36 hours of charging.

Sounds like a serious issue to me, and can't get hold of anyone to respond at Fitbit.  Have already tried unpairing device, restarting watch, deleting and reinstalling app, nothing is working (especially not my Fitbit!)

Anyone else got similar issues?

Hey @EllyMc, let me give you a warm welcome to the Community! In regards of your steps, calories and live heart rate, that is right my friend, there is a current issue with that data on Android devices, so I will ask you to be patience while our team is working to solve it. You can stay tune by checking out this thread.

If the green lights on the back of your Versa aren't flashing, try to restart it. If after that, the issue persists, please try changing the heart rate settings from ON to Auto; from Auto to Off and from Off to Auto.

Now in regards of your sleep, I'd like to ask you, is it your Versa not tracking your sleep stages or your sleep data in general?

And about the battery of your Versa, remember that it should last up to 4 days with normal use. So more than anything, it will depend a lot of how often you are checking apps on your watch. To make it last longer, take a look at the tips in this post.

Let me know how it goes!

I just got a replacement versa because my last one did what yours is doing and this one worked fine for two days now it isnt synching right stopped recording my sleep data at all and it has wiped out everything since noon yesterday as far as steps, calories, etc. I did a hard reset yesterday just to be able to get it to pair to my phone at all and now again this morning same issue and again it wont synch to my phone. So frustrating!!

Hey @Nikki_renee, it is nice to see new faces around! If your Versa doesn't seem to be syncing, I'd like you to try the following:

- Make sure that you have the latest version of the Fitbit app installed on your Android phone

- Follow the troubleshooting in this help article: Why won't my Fitbit device sync?

Now regarding your sleep not tracked, could you please tell me, is the general sleep that isn't being tracked or just sleep stages?

Keep me posted!
