Versa not charging after factory reset

My husband and I each have a Versa. Mine wasn't working well with my phone, so to test it and see if it was the Versa or my phone my husband agreed to factory reset his Versa and trade with me. After we factory reset his, the screen wouldn't turn on. So I charged it overnight. The next day, nothing. It's been 3 days now and I've tried everything to get it to work. My Versa is now working fine with his phone and it charges in both chargers that we have. His Versa, about twice a day, the screen will display 0% battery after holding down the left and bottom right buttons. When I plug into the charger connected to my computer, the computer makes a noise but then shortly after another noise indicating it failed. I've contacted Fitbit and they can not provide warranty support. Looks like I'm out a device and will have to purchase another.
