I’ve had the Versa 10 days or so-from night 1 it hasn’t measured my sleep hrs or exercise minutes correctly (2hrs of sleep a night - 12 mins of a 45 min CrossFit class)-I’ve reset the Versa several times as well as removed and re-installed the app to no avail. In fact the problems have gotten worse-my phone will say it’s connected to the Vera via Bluetooth but the Versa will say it’s not connected - won’t sync - won’t stay connected through Bluetooth. I’ve read several posts on similar issues and all of Fitbit’s responses/answers have been very vague and not helpful in my opinion. This seems like an issue that is a frequent issue - and yet there hasn’t been a consistent resolution or answer as to wether or not it’s a Versa glitch or a repairable issue. I’m really dissapointed and am considering returning the Versa without re-purchasing another. Is there any real solutions out there?

@Bgalster Welcome to the forum. Can you please share your phone model and OS? I'm assuming you're using smarttrack (autorecognition) for your crossfit workouts. That would explain why Versa did not recognize the whole exercise. For CrossFit, it's best to start a workout manually on your Versa. Regarding your sleep stages, do you have any sleep presets set up? E.g. bedtimes etc? Please clear them as they've been known to cause issues. Also make sure your heartrate was recorded properly as it's needed for sleep stages.

Welcome on board @Bgalster, it's nice to have a new member around! Thanks for answering @Marrrmaduke's questions. (Thanks for your help!)
In order to solve this, please go to the Bluetooth settings on your phone and remove the tracker. In the list of Bluetooth devices you'll see the Versa and next to it, this symbol "!". Hit the symbol and it will take you to the next step, once you're there select the option that says "Forget this device".
Once you've made sure about that, go back to the Fitbit app, go to the "Account" option in the upper right corner and select "Set up a Device". This should start the setup process for your device.
As you know, sleep stages are based on heart rate data, so make sure that you're getting a solid heart rate reading , since sleep stages requires consistent HR. For best results, wear your device higher on your wrist (about 2-3 finger widths above your wrist bone). The band should feel secure but not too tight. Also, double check that your watch is charged up.
Additionally, I'd recommend checking the following that could be preventing you from receiving sleep stages:
For more information about why you see your sleep pattern, tap or click the sleep record that shows your sleep pattern.
In addition, I think it's great that you update the Fitbit app to the latest version (iOS and Android). I always recommend keeping both the tracker and the Fitbit app up to date with the latest versions.
If you haven't restarted your watch, please follow these steps to perform the restart.
Hope this helps!
