Not connecting to Bluetooth for a Versa and my friends Charge 2

I’ve done all of the suggested steps. Multiple times. Now it can’t be found by my Bluetooth, Versa lite is stuck on factory reset start screen and is a useless piece of junk! The issues started exactly 6 months to the day as it was a Christmas present. The time was of. First ten minutes, reset, then 20 minutes, reset, device not found, device not found, reset, 3 hour time difference, factory reset uninstall app restart phone redownload app ... not showing up in Bluetooth connection AT ALL! 

So.... why do you sell products that break in less than a year that are not cheap to purchase in the first place????

I am having exactly the same issue, I have tried everything, i am wasting days and hours with no results

If you are within your first year of purchase, contact fitbit support. I ended up getting a replacement. They also blame it on the cell phones we have instead of fixing issues. I'm sure this post will be blocked from being posted because i said that, but we shall see.

Thanks! mine is 18 months old, i heard of many issues, and this is obvious
a manufactory defect, should still be in the 2 years warranty as too many
people report having the same issue. As a developer , we have various
mobile devices, and i use it with ab iphone 11, with latest updates, tried
with android, pc, ipad, etc! nothing works, always wore it with a screen
protector and never been dropped, this is ridiculous

I did everything it says on the website, and it won't even connect to bluetooth,  and still not working, this is very frustrating

Me too it makes me not to ever recomend or buy another Fitbit, versa 2 an Flex 2 not working at all

Mine too started showing the same issue of not syncing (Versa with Android phone), I then tried all troubleshooting steps and now it is stuck on the factory reset screen. Contacted customer support, they too suggested same steps but were not able to connect the device. Lastly, they suggested to dispose the Versa 'safely' in local electronic disposal facility as my device crossed the 1 year warranty period.

Very rude, yr comment, people don't have money to throw away!  To all: if your versa is not working after following all the steps, contact Fitbit support by email or phone. They will help you...trust and believe!

Doing that for over 9 months. Finally got a new replacement. Impossible to set up as it has no Bluetooth connectivity. Time to start another 9 months of phone calls. Look at the forum and trust pilot. This is normal. Seriously, you can't even use it to tell the time.

I reset my fitbit versa. It’s been idle for a year so factory reset it and have been trying to sync it to my phone for SIX HOURS NOW! 

 

have literally done every step so far correctly but it just won’t find it. What do I do apart from tossing the versa in the trash can?

Hello, I've been fighting with me new versa for some time also, again.
My only suggestion us to be sure that any other bluetooth device is off &
have everything as close as you can to each other. May need to reset again.
If that doesnt work the trash can is your next best option.
My fitbits have lasted 1 year. My last one was about 2 weeks.
Will not be buying one of these ever again.

After 8th steps also don't see device got paired /sync  with companion phone.

 

for syncing issue wanted to collect bugreport, but don't see any option to collect bugreport from UI

also wanted to collect logs to debug further what is happening, but don't see option of developer.

I had to reset my Fitbit versa 3 3 times and delete Fitbit app and
reinstall it to get it to work.
