My mother got a Versa 2 and, 17 months later, the Bluetooth no longer works.  I reset it multiple times, logged out of the app, reinstalled the app, did a factory reset and... nothing.  This is trash.  And of course, it's outside the warranty period.  She'll be looking at another watch from another brand.

I myself dropped Fitbit when my Charge 3 dipped out just after the warranty expired and the screen went bonkers.

I have the same issue. Won't pair to Bluetooth,  will not sync, time is 15 minutes slow. I have tries all of the suggested fixes to sync several times. The user should not have to go through all the gyrations to sync Versa 2 to a phone. I wanted, initially, to use my laptop rather than a smartphone. Trying cost $$$$, almost worked but didn't. My daughter gave me a Android smartphone and the Versa 2 worked for a couple months. Intermittently losing sync. The watch was a gift from my wife or I'd throw the watch in the trash.

I received 4 replacements. Finally they offered new one for half price...

Tried all these useless suggestions. Then looked at youtube, and within 2 minutes i was paired...

On your fitbit Scroll up to settings

Press screen

Scroll to... Clear user data

Press for 3 seconds until it clears user data

Try the sync process again

This worked on my Inspire HR

Believe me i was ready to throw the thing on the floor and do my 20k step on it!   Good luck!

Hi Marco,

I have tried all the above steps, but when trying to set up my Versa on iPhone it is just saying "Searching..." and doesn't do anything further. The Fitbit Versa is 2 years old now and the time was going out of sync hence tried to remove and add it back to the iPhone app. I have also tried this from other iPhones as well and all doing the same thing. Hence I am convinced that it is the Fitbit Bluetooth functionality that might have broken.

Any suggestions, please?

Thanks,

One thing more to try. Reset your router. The router my not be talking to your devices.
Insure you have the latest Fitbit on your phones. Also, that you have the latest updates to your smartwatch.

My first Versa3 broke before a year and they replaced it.  The new one broke about a year later and they gave me 35% off a new fitbit device and the devices were already 35% off and the discount only applied to the regular price!  Rip off!  My fitbit looks like new, has not been damaged, and it charges fine....it just won't sync!

I know what you mean!  I have been using fitbit for over 6 years and I really hate changing .  For now I ordered a tracking device which is less expensive, but not happy with FITBIT.  They must know the Versa 3 is deficient and they know I have been a customer for so long, and yet they don't back their product.  I would not recommend Fitbit to someone just starting with this type of device.

Thank you, turning off Bluetooth and restarting the app worked for me!

I did all the troubleshooting they suggested to no avail.  The thing that worked for me was to remove the fitbit "connector" from bluetooth.  I think that is the thing that allows you to use your fitbit a microphone for your phone, or other devices.  I have no use for it.  Removed all traces of that, and I have no issues now.
