Not connecting to Bluetooth for a Versa and my friends Charge 2

I am not sure if its covered under warranty. All of a sudden it was connected to my bluetooth and was syncing again. Not sure what I did but I check before trying to factory reset it and it was fixed. It's been fine for over 2 hours now so hopefully it wont happen again

Factory reset killed my original one. It froze and I couldn't do anything to it. Only had it for 4 months.

Hi: I have read through all of your troubleshooting solutions and none of them are working on my Fitbit Versa. The time is still slow on the watch by 11 minutes. What’s next?

None of this seems to work. Just downloaded Fitbit app on new iPhone 8. Just took Versa out of box. Fully charged it. Kept it in charging cradle. Have cycled Bluetooth on phone off and on several times. Have hard rebooted Fitbit.

any other ideas?  The fitbit doesn’t show up on any Bluetooth enabled device. It seems like the fitbit’s Bluetooth is simply turned off. How can I fix this?

If you have any other bluetooth devices connected to your phone - turn them
off. Reinstall device on phone as if you are doing it for the first time.
Be patient as this can take a while.

I talked directly to Fitbit about my issues with staying paired and I was
told that some phones do not pair well with the app. I thought maybe it was
because my phone was a bit older. But the guy from fitbit said that even
computers with Windows 10 and bluetooth have pairing issues. I never had an
issue with the Blaze, only with the new Versa Lite... makes no sense to me

I have tried multiple times following the instruction and still am unable to connect to bluetooth

Every since I update the firmware on my fitbi on 4/22 I have been having problems

I had synced my Iphone with Fitbit versa, from last one year it was running smooth but suddenly from last week it stop syncing and then i did following

 

Factory reset my versa by pressing all 3 buttons and from then i have did many things

 

1. Restart iphone, versa many times

2. uninstall versa app and reinstall many times

3. i have tried connecting versa on android phone

4. Today i have tried connecting with my PC

 

But of no use. Not any device (iphone, andriod and Window) my Vesa is discoverable.

I am not got frustratesd, at lease 200 times i have i have tried doing all the things which are suggested by fitbit community.

 

Can someone please help me

I've discovered that if you have your fitbit charging, you can sync it. 

 

I'm still loosing time and can't sync it otherwise, but at least you can save your data.

Have you shut down your fitbit? Not restart, shut down (Settings --> About --> Shut down). I'm not sure what else to suggest.

I did factory reset by pressing all 3 buttons now I can’t see any menu on
my versa except the screen where is shown logo and a message in different
languages saying” To start, install fitbit app

You may have to reinstall the app then. Once that's done, try to connect your fitbit again, and make sure it's charging.

Hi,Make sure your Bluetooth is on either in your home or smartphone. Go to settings, Bluetooth,  pair.This should work, if it doesn't, shut your phone completely off then start up again.  Hope this helps...

Hello, 

 

My wife got a Versa 2 for Christmas this past year and at first everything worked fine. Starting about two weeks ago the watch has been plagued with syncing issues. We have read all of the tips and steps for fixing this problem and we got it to connect and resync after wiping the watch (factory reset) but now even that will not work. I have performed each of the steps listed in your previous post with no success. I can't even get the watch to connect to a new device (my phone). Is there anything else we can do? Based on what I have been reading this is a major defect with all fitbit watches that should be addressed immediately by Fitbit. Please provide any useful information you can to help us get this watch working.

Hi there,
I use an android phone so I'm not familiar with how an I phone syncs.
On my phone I needed to be sure battery is fully charged, turn off all
other wifi devices except phone & watch and also try turning on location on
your phone. Then try to install without doing a factory reset. Act as tho
you just got it. Keep watch close to phone, it seemed to take forever to
sync when I did this. Be patient... I still get messages to turn on
location to sync.🤨 This seems to be a real problem with these fitbits.

Same here. Every single time there's an update I get this issue. Is Google phasing out the Fitbit? I just want to know if that's the case, then I'll probably not purchase another Fitbit product.

Hi! I would first be patient with the update. It can be frustrating.
I have the original Versa Lite. A year ago I had it replaced by Fitbit even though I bought it on Amazon.
Also with this update (yesterday) my watch face was weird..and only a couple apps were working, I recharged my watch, everything came up except the watch face.
So I went to watch faces on my app and downloaded another one. It’s great now.
