I'm so glad my husband spent $150 for a watch that counts my arm swings.
Seriously, I've had my ONE for 4 years with no problems just thought I'd enjoy the super cool Versa but I'm wearing both and can clearly see that the ONE is more accurate. Tech support told me to restart, reset and change my stride. NONE of that worked. Very disappointed.

Purely for step count accuracy, it is unlikely anything worn on wrist will match accuracy of a clip-on One or Zip. But is step count the only thing you care about, not the ease of seeing data plus timer, stopwatch, music, games, etc on wrist; heart rate data, calories, active minutes, sleep stages, notifications, ... ?
If you will look at data over the course of a full day, I think you will find they come fairly close on step count.

It actually IS why I use the Fitbit. I want my distance accurately recorded. I run daily, I participate in challenges and am training for another 1/2 marathon. I just finished a run and the ONE showed me at 5.69 miles while the Versa showed only 4 miles. That's a huge discrepancy. I don't have time to play games on a watch and assuming the heart rate is correct that's cool but active minutes isn't if it's not counting steps accurately then that number is off too.
