Versa not getting any notifications from my Galaxy S9+

My versa  will not receive notifications of any kind it just constantly says nothing new here and the step numbers don't fit on the screen properly.

Please try the troubleshooting steps that are listed in this help article. After this, monitor your watch and see if it receives notifications from your phone properly.
