Versa not getting updated. Displaying red cross whenever update goes till 98%

Recently bought a versa watch. I tried syncing/updating with my iphone 6s plus, but it always crashes/shows red cross mark whenevr update reaches till 98%. Please anyone help me out. Thanks!
