Have had my Versa for about 3 months now and for the past few weeks it has been dying fast usually last 4 1/2 -5 days and now it dies within a day 1 1/2 . Help, what should I do?

I love my watch, would hate to stop wearing it. Can some one please help me resolve this issue? The reason I got this watch was cause the battery life.

How did you contact support? My sons fit bit is doing the same thing. He’s had it a few months and i had it before him. The fit bit charges but it loses charge in a couple of hours. Sounds Like a battery issue. I don’t know what to do. I don’t wasn’t to spend 200 on a new one.

Like the previous reports, it fully charges then dies within a day and a half, I cleaned contacts per usual, reset it, and now it's not synching well. The time was off from when it died. I've always had a fitbit from when it was a pebble... This versa is around a year old... ☹

My wife's is now dying in less than a day. This is only 9 months old. It's a warranty replacement from our first one that died within a year. My battery is also starting to due after a Google is days. Both used to last 5 days. So, I'm going to say these watches only last a year, fall out of warranty, and we're on our own.

My fitbit finally died, it gift really hot, then puffed up while charging. I think there's a diffect on the battery. The "support tech" said all he could do is send me a 25% off for future purchase on any fitbit and 40% off a Versa. But all I got in the email was the 25%. It's not the kind of service I expected after being a faithful fitbit user over 12 years. I'm switching to Samsung's watch, at least I know what to expect out of battery life with extra cool fixtures.

I’ve tried everything others listed and am also unable to hold a

charge. I tried to contact support but no response. My unit is older. I received an Apple Watch for Christmas 2018 and actually returned it and got the Versa bc I’ve loved the fitbit product family for years. This device isn’t brand new but I expect more than 1.5 years. If I get the “no longer supported...” party line I’m definitely switching to Apple.

Didn't hear back from "support" last I heard was "buy a new one" here's 30% off 😶 Got a Samsung and haven't missed the last fitbit at all. I do miss my older fitbit and the better customer service they had. 12 years plus.... Sad.

I just started having battery trouble. Fully charged I can turn it off and back on and the battery is completely dead. Doesn’t hold a charge over night. It’s terrible. It’s unusable. I really liked it but it’s terrible now. Won’t get another Fitbit  product for sure.

My versa is also not holding a charge.  I have tried all the tips given as well.  Not a happy camper at the moment. Seriously thinking of going to the Apple Watch. Had one prior and loved it but decided to give fitbit a try because my wife and friends have one.

If you're still within a year of purchasing it, Fitbit is usually pretty good about replacing it for not holding a charge. (They'll make you jump through a few hoops, but that's to be expected)I love the Fitbit platform, but have had many issues over the years. Since 2012 I have had to have at least 4 replaced, mostly due to charging issues. Good luck!Sent from my cell: with small keys, fat fingers, and eyes that no longer work properly.

Mine just started doing the same thing over the weekend.  Had it charged for the weekend away, one morning the screen wouldn’t turn on, so after some research, I did a reset.  When I got home (and the battery was low), I charged it. Now it won’t even hold a charge for 5 hours.  Very frustrating!

I have the same issues with my Versa 2 which is 14 months old. The resolution to my support case was to purchase a new watch.🤔

That sounds like FitBit. Their trackers are horrible. I've been using FitBit for 10 years, and in that time, I've had to purchase 9 trackers. I just love their app format so much...but their trackers? Awful. They basically last until the 1 year warranty runs out, then you'll need to purchase a new one. If you aren't overly attached to their app, I'd jump ship to a different brand. Sent from my cell: Memento Mori

I have done all the above and my versa still won't hold a charge. I literally took it off the charger not even an hour ago and it's already down to 94% battery I will have to charge it again by Saturday. I just charged it on Monday it's only Thursday my battery used to last alot longer. I only use it to count steps and monitor my sleep. The auto awake ect is all off at this point the battery drains faster than I can charge it. I thought my apple watch was bad but at this point my fit bit is worse.
