Versa not holding a charge

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

I have a new Versa (purchased Friday, June 8th) and it is not holding a charge for more than 24 hours. I had a Blaze before it and never had any issues with battery life. I don't feel I should have to run through hoops to get the expected battery life. I've restarted it. I was unable to find much help on the forum.

It sounds defective. You need to return it to the store you bought it from or contact Support  (link in my signature )

good luck with that!  Mine won't hold the charge for more than 14 hours... still waiting for any useful response from customer service.

The main thing that has help is turning off the auto sync/ all day sync.

I just bought my Fitbit Versa Monday 8/13 and I charged it 100% turned off my sync/notifications and still won’t stsy charged longer than 14 hours or so.. it’s advertised to have a battery life up to 4 days!!! I think this is false advertising at its finest.. I’m completely unsatisfied as a “first time” Fitbit owner 😠! It may have a “4” day battery life if you never wear it!! Anyone else having this issue??

I have been a very satisfied Fitbit owner for years.  I also turned everything off and it still need charging every day.  I will be reaching out to Fitbit, why have someth9that does not stay charged and why have features that I cannot use.  My Fitbit Charge 2 held a charge, an thinking of downgrading.

Very annoying

Has anyone figured out a fix to this or is this just a defective build that Fitbit needs to pull off the market and reconfigure?

I have had mine since 24Jun18 and have had nothing but charging issues since I’ve had it, except it’s actually getting worse as time goes on. I am highly thinking of switching to the iWatch series 4 as soon as it comes out this month. Sucks that I spent so much money on this one, but I guess  it is what it is at this point.

From all the other reviews and comments from other customers that I’ve read, it doesn’t really seem like Fitbit cares about their customers or wants to help resolve any of these issues.

I have the same problem with mine and the longer I have it the worse it gets. I miss the blaze it was much better 😞 I feel like they lied on the site saying it had a better battery life to con us out of our money and make us need to replace them more often. 😞

Same they should update versa to say 1/4 the battery life of blaze instead of the current misinformation posted

Mine quit holding a charge a few days ago. It starts decreasing almost immediately after taking off the charger. I bought a new Fitbit charger and a new wall charger. No luck. I have had my Versa for 10 months.

Customer Service  checked my warranty and found that I am eligible for a replacement. They were fantastic. My replacement is on it’s way.

Mine keeps dying within 2 days of a full charge, but just started recently.  I was advised to use a clock-face that is developed by Fitbit instead of a third party developer.  We will see if this helps the situation.
