Versa not holding a charge

Hi all.

 

My Fitbit Versa is only 4 month old. In the first 6 weeks it was able to hold a battery life charge of 3-4 days as stipulated. I have not added anything different to the watch. Now the battery life is not even reaching 24 hours. I charge the battery every day. I have also been on chat for which I have reset to factory settings and recharging as if I just bought it.

 

Any suggestions? Or do I have a dodgy Fitbit?

Are you listening to music with it more frequently?

Do you have it set to auto-sync all day?

How long are you leaving it on the charger - all night, or just until it's charged?

 

These things, especially the last two can affect the battery life. If had started over-charging it a few times, leaving it on the charger a lot longer than it needed, the battery may be damaged.

 

Worst case, receive a replacement from Fitbit!

If you are having issues with your Versa holding a charge, I recommend taking a look at this post and follow the instructions provide there. After those steps, test you units.
