Versa not holding a charge

First let me say this Fitbit site is a joke. I wanted to chat with customer service, clicked on that option and took me right to advertisements for Fitbit.

Anyway, Can someone tell me why my Versa, with a charge of 57% went down to 24% without it being on my wrist. I do not wear it water, so I took it off. When I went to put it on several hours later, it was way down. This is the second one I have had since Christmas. The first one would not hold a charge. Had to charge within a day. This one is better, but still only lasts three days....sometimes!

@ReberD Welcome! It's great to see you around!

Let me help you with your Versa charge. Even if you aren't wearing it the device is still detecting movement, trying to connect to your phone and doing all the normal things it is supposed to do as it has to be active for this. Still you can try cleaning the contacts using cotton with rubbing alcohol then charge it by plugging it for a couple of hours directly to your computer's usb port (try different ports) or use an UL listed usb wall adapter. After this, restart your device and see how it behaves. You can also find additional suggestions here.

Let me know how it goes.
