Versa not holding a charge

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

I only use my watch as a clock and to record my steps yet my battery is not lasting more than 24 hours. This started after I updated to the latest version I have done all the steps I’ve read in other questions in the forum for battery. I always charge overnight so it’s definitely more than 2 hours. I never use music. I’ve turned off all day sync.  Yet my battery is still draining.

Hello @Jennschoen77,

Not only you have this problem (check other topics). Recently, fully charged battery was enough for only 11 hours... (1am to 12pm - so that is during my sleep).

We are waiting for an official response from the support team.

I am having the same issue after the most recent update. My battery is draining more quickly but at least it is lasting almost 16 hours. However, it is not picking up my sleep since the update.

Hello guys, thanks for your participation in the Community and @NellyG for the input.

I appreciate all the efforts in trying to fix this battery issue. @Lavec, upon checking with our support team, I was told that you have already created a case with them. I know they will be glad to help you out and provide you a solution.

@Jennschoen77 and @SunsetRunner, if your watches aren't holding a charge, I recommend taking a look at the help article: Can I extend my Fitbit device's battery life? and follow the tips provided there. After following them, test your units.

Let me know the outcome. Smiley Happy

I depend on my Fitbit Versa for my heart health!

it recently saved my life as the watch alerted me to a horrifically high heart rate!

i was able to get to the ER immediately and they got my rate down, if it wasn’t for the watch I’d have died!

But now I’ve been having issues with the battery dying during the night!

The battery used to last 3-4 days, now (without warning, even though I’m supposed to get a low battery alert) it’s at 0% every day!

I've done all the battery drain tests, I made sure that I charge the watch correctly and I don’t use any other functions other then manual turn on and heart rate...

why did I pay that much for a non-usable watch?

i need help...thank you
