Versa not holding a charge

My Fitbit  versa is less than a year old, its always held a charge for multiple days.  For the past few days after taking my watch off of the charger, fully charged at 100% the watch battery dies after a fee hours. I charge it again, and a few hours later its dead. 

I restarted my phone, the app, my bluetooth, the watch , still the battery won't hold a charge, yet the watch charges to 100%

 

I spoke to costumer service and they offered to send a new charging cable. Is this normal? The watch is charging, but the battery doesn't hold the charge. Any advice ?

@Tyrhcr welcome to our Fitbit Community! The charging cable that you were sent should work and improve the battery life of your Versa.

 

In addition, I'd like you to try the tips that are listed in this help article when receiving the new charger. These tips are also helpful in order to improve the battery of your watch.
