I've been experiencing issues with my Versa for the past week. I had stopped using it because the strap broke and I was waiting for a new one from January till the beginning of February, and when I turned it back on, it was only holding a charge for 18 hours instead of 4+ days I had been getting before. I contacted customer support in which they had me follow instructions from here, which did not work. They then said my warranty had expired, and gave me a 25% discount on another Fitbit device (which really is nothing considering their Versas are already 25% off on their store and Amazon, and the discount doesn't stack, so it's inherently worthless).
I did some research and found that many other Versa owners had been experiencing this issue after a firmware update (32.70.7.14) which rolled out between December 2019 and January 2020. No one post on these community boards or other Fitbit forums were able to lay out a solution that had worked. Because you cannot rollback firmware updates, due to the app forcing an update, there is no fix in software. I have done many reboots, factory resets, and I even tested the devices battery life on older firmware (After rebooting, it goes into an older firmware. I was able to get more than 2 days of battery life, and still going) which proves it is a software issue.
If anyone is able to give a viable solution, it would be much appreciated to the many that feel justifiably slighted.

@AverageLoken, I apologize for the late response. However, let me welcome you to our Fitbit forums.
I'm sorry to hear that your Versa experienced battery draining issues. I'm also sorry to hear that it's no longer under warranty. The warranty period is good for 365 days, starting from the date of first setup. I totally understand how frustrating this is for you.
Please visit this page for more information about the warranty policies.
We really appreciate your feedback and comments since this helps us to keep improving.
I'll be around if any question arises.
