Its way past time we heard from Fitbit rather than moderators, who are probably told by Fitbit to keep us in the dark like mushrooms and fed us bull s**t!!

Fitbit has gone down hill and continues to disappoint me every day. I had a charge 2 and I loved it but I wanted something I could wear in the pool. I waited two months to have the money to by a versa and it was horrible! It would not sync with the app and it did not log my sleep. I ended up returning it and getting a flex2. I found I really missed having the watch, the stair count, and the detailed sleep. So I saved my money again and bought a charge3. Basically I paid a lot for a watch! I drive a Jeep and every day my Fitbit logs 20+ flights of stairs on my way to and from work. Yeah I know I can ”negate” these stairs by entering my activity as driving. That is so much extra work just to drive to and from work. Not only that I don’t always keep track to the minute what my drive is and I often stop at a store along the way. My tracker is in no way reliable.

Mine did the same thing and they also tried to blame my phone. Yet, it had worked just fine for my charge 2, my flex2, and now it works fine for my charge 3. The part that sucked was it would wipe out my food log every night and I was tracking food for medical purposes. I returned the Versa and got my flex2. Now I have a charge3 which thinks I am climbing stairs everytime I get in a vehicle, so it is no way a reliable fitness tracker.

Dear Antonio, I have the same issue, my Versa did not de read correctly the sleep stages.
But I did not understand where and how to apply your solution. Into Fitbit app or where?
Regards.

This seems to be an issue with this device. I had a Blaze for a long time and never had any issues with sleep tracking. I've had my Versa for a couple of weeks now and it hasn't logged sleep once. Nothing at all. I'll try pushing it up my arm but that's not something I ever had to do with my Blaze. This thing seems inferior in at least that one way.

I had the same problem. I switched devices with the wife just to check it wasn’t a device issue. It worked fine on the wife’s wrist. That got my mind working. I found their is one major difference between my arms/wrist compared to my wife’s. My arms are quite hairy in comparison. So I shaved a small spot for the versa to sit and to my amazement it worked, my sleep data logged. Problem solved.

Thank you for the reply. My devices have always been hit and miss with the
advanced stages anyway (by looking at my graphs tonight). .. this is what i
wrote in another forum - So, if it only works with HR, not sure why one of
the days with the F1 i got REM and some with the HR devices I didn't (also
for reference for last night I slept 9 hours, so over the required 3 hours,
as I did with the others as well...) So maybe they just don't like me lol
I think it picks and chooses when to work.. as I wore my Charge HR
yesterday/last night to see.. here are the results:
CHARGE HR today/last night sleep (22 Jan 2019) - Regular/basic sleep
tracking
Flex 1 (24-30 Dec) - Regular/basic tracking / (3-9 Sep) Regular/basic
Flex 1 (27 Aug -2 Sep) - Advanced/REM sleep
Versa (20 - 26 Aug) - Mixture (20, 22, 24-26 Avanced/REM / 21, 23
Regular/basic)
Versa (13 - 19 Aug) - Advanced/REM
Charge HR (6 - 12 Aug) - Mixture (6 REM / 7, 11 Regular).
everything further back is also a mixture of both and was using the charge
HR most of the summer.
I got the versa in Aug and was only wearing it at night for the most part,
as I ended up not liking it. Plus, it was too much to use multiple, as I'd
have to unlink one and then add another, as if i had multiple (as we should
be able to do) it would never sync.. so I stopped using the versa the last
week (26th Aug) of August and went back to Flex.

@SunsetRunnerI have tried this for this week, deleted all records and manually entered the original times, but without results, I still get the basic sleep stats. I have upgraded my Charge 2 HR after two years to a Versa, but but with both devices I have seen Sleep Stages once or twice.
It doesn't write off all the good functionalities Versa has, but it is annoying when I see advertisements with Sleep Stages as usp on Social.

I am having the same issue. I’m not getting a message saying we don’t have enough info, just a screen showing my sleep patterns and times. It’s also calculating that I’m burning 500 calories while I sleep??

I just purchased a fitbit versa and I'm having that problem also. Do you know a solution?

I did a complete system update on my phone. Reset my fitbit and reconnected it to my phone and I've had no problems since 😊
