Versa not notifying when short of hourly step goal

Recently my versa no longer gives notification if I am short of the hourly step goal 10 minutes before the hour.  How do I fix?  Unrelated, my battery just started only lasting 4 days instead of 5.  How do I fix?

Yes, shutdown and started up just the other day.  No difference.
