I'm not receiving call notifications on my Fitbit Versa from my Samsung 8 Note. I've done every step that the Fitbit Help section suggested to troubleshoot the problem. Nothing!!!
It's been one constant issue after another lately...I've contacted Fitbit customer service (by phone) TWICE already about issues that they say they are aware of and currently working on...and I've only owned the Versa for 13 days!!!
It's already bad enough that EVERY day is a constant struggle with this watch just to sync my steps, sleep, HR, etc from my watch to my phone. I literally have to pair and unpair the bluetooth AND then click on something random within the Fitbit app ON MY PHONE (for example: the water intake log or open up and look at a previous nights sleep log results) AND at the same time ON MY Fitbit WATCH open an app (for example: the weather app) just for the two devices to recognize each other and then sync the most recent data. It's like I'm in my own version of the M&M's Christmas commercial where the yellow M&M and the red M&M see Santa Claus.
M&M's: "He does exist!"
Santa: "They do exist!"
Only in my scenario I'm opening and clicking on random things on my Fitbit Versa and the Fitbit App on my Samsung Note 8 just so they are both currently doing something at the same time and then wah-lah!
Samsung: "It does exist!"
Fitbit: "Oh!!! There you are..."
This is just so exhausting!!! I really like the Versa watch as far as looks (I purchased the Target only exclusive color Periwinkle/Rose Gold), the size of screen is great for a female wrist, and I like the information it tracks from my daily activities (especially the detailed sleep log reports I receive to the app on my phone)...but I REALLY hate the process of getting them to work together! And NOW I have this call notification issue where I'm not aware that I'm receiving a call to my phone in my scrub pocket because the Versa doesn't notify me anymore! I understand this is a new product...but my goodness it shouldn't be THIS difficult. If this is what we have to look forward to then Fitbit needs to add a new feature that checks and logs blood pressure!
P.S. I have great WiFi...highest speed through AT&T, I have went through my phone settings on the phone AND in the Fitbit App to make sure notifications are allowed and nothing is blocked, bluetooth on phone always shows that it is paired to Versa, Versa notifications are turned "ON" in the app and on the watch, I have the most recent updates on both my Fitbit App and my Samsung Note 8 (which is currently the most recent Note series of the phone with the required 4.4 or higher software version so it's not like I have an older version phone with outdated software), I don't live out in the middle of nowhere where internet/WiFi connectivity is an issue. So I should not be having all these issues with syncing or this new issue now with not receiving call notifications.

Ironically I now do receive call notifications from my S7 Edge. However the update gives a new problem. The other notifications texts/email etc are received but are virtually instantly deleted so you might see them if you are quick otherwise you get the up to date message!!

I also have a note 8 and can't get call notifications. I receive text notifications but not phone call notifications. I've tried the test phone call and it works then but not for real phone calls. Frustrating to say the least.

Same issue!! Someone said it was a message + compatibility issue. I know before the update I did not get any call notifications now after the update I have issues with the text notifications acting like they were written in disappearing ink.
