I have done all the steps to properly set up my notifications between my android and my Versa. I have actually done it a few times and even went so far as to reset my Versa. The test call notification goes through, notifications for telegram go through but nothing for inbox, messenger, Facebook, slack, hangouts, Snapchat etc.
Anyone else having this issue? I bought this thing so that way I didn't have to constantly have to rush to my phone or computer but without the notifications working a big purchase point is now gone. It only stopped working a few days ago.
As stated above I do not get the app "error" message about notifications not working.

Hey @AlejandraFitbit
I have updated the app, so far so good. Is there also a firmware push happening? A few users have mentioned they have recieved one.
Edit: Spoke too soon, just missed a notification
Thanks

Nope. Even tried resetting my phone to make sure my notification settings in the system weren't messed with. No error message that notifications aren't working but test call notification is still working.

@ghammer1980 and @thatsboxy thanks for the update and for this information.
If you still having issues with your notifications, can you please follow the basic instructions provided in my previous post?
Keep me posted.

Things seem to be working better now. However, there are times where it seems that syncing is a bit hindered or that notifications are a bit hit and miss (but overall it is working much better).
At first I did all of those steps and it didn't help at all but when I woke up the following morning it seemed to have kind of sorted itself out.
Thanks for your help!

I did not have any issues with my Versa before the firmware update 2 days ago. Now I can only receive call notifications, no text, email, etc. I followed all the steps several times and chatted with customer service performing all steps again several times sending screen shots, with no fix. I was told it's a known problem. What is the time frame for having a solution? I'm extremely frustrated and unimpressed with the repetitious unhelpful "help" responses so far.

I have tried everything multiple times. Been through customer support many times. I receive notifications for a little while after doing everything including factory resets. I keep being told my Google Pixel XL has an unstable Bluetooth connection. It’s not unstable with my GMC Link, or with my headphones, or with my Jam box, so it’s not my phone. I have a couple of weeks before I have to return it, and if it’s not fixed by then, it’s gone. Want my Pebble back. You guys bought all that great technology and you still can’t get the Versa to work right. Very frustrated.

I am not receiving any notifications since the update. I do not receive call notifications or text notifications. The "test call" feature works, but I do not get a notification when I am receiving an actual call. These were not issues for me PRIOR to the update. I have my App and watch enabled to receive notifications, and I have restarted everything... please help.

Since my firmware update this morning I am back to where I started. I get test call notifications. The app says everything is fine but I get zero notifications. No error message.
Yes, I have gone through all of the steps of clearing the storage, data, fore stopping the app, disconnecting the versa from the bluetooth, restarting BOTH the versa and my phone...and re-connecting everything.
*shrug*

I am still not getting notifications regularly. Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. Still no error messages.
On top of that I have been having issues even syncing the fitbit to the app regularly. I don't know what happened but the firmware update made things worse.

I received my Versa fitbit on Monday. Connected it to my Samsung Galaxy Note 8. I am still having all kinds of issues not syncing, not getting call and text notifications, etc. I did chat with customer service, who did tr to help me, telling me to do all the same stuff that i had tried for 2 days before I tried customer service. It is still very spotty at best.
I am a longtime FB user, one, alta, surge and now Versa. I am so disappointed because I loved it the first day that it worked.
After reading these boards and just searching for solutions, it seems that the Versa is not compatible with the Note 8. Is there going to be an update to make the Versa compatible without having to jump through all these hoops (once again, 6 year FB user). Please let me know when it is coming or has it already came. Please.

I haven't received any notifications on the Versa in 3 days, reset all my settings. Something has happened with the latest update or something on the backend. Worked fine for last 2 months but had to turn on/off notification access on my phone every now and then.

They also told me that I couldn't have more than 2 devices hooked to my bluetooth, the versa being one as well as if I have the app on another device, my iPad, take it off and only hv the FB app on one device. After all of that, it still is not working properly. I have to restart my phone for syncing and for the notifications to come through.

I realize this is an old post. Go to settings, applications, fitbit, app info, permissions. Check phone in permissions. I now receive incoming notification of calls but still no messages or email. Did anyone figure that out?
