I changed out my versa yesterday in the middle of doing an activity. I had active minutes with my charge 2 up until I changed it out for the versa and have not had active minutes since, even with same activities. Anyone else having this same problem?

I am also having this same issue along with no HR present. This does not show on my Fitbit nor my app even though my Charge 2 was working fine.

Exact same thing happening to me. My Blaze recorded minutes perfectly, switched to the new Versa and nno minutes record.

Same here. Swapped from my charge 2 yesterday. Plenty of active minutes. Now with the versa none at all.

How do I get the update?

@MoHegarty Updates are usually rolled out - not everyone gets it at once. When yours is available there will be an update notice in your app next to the listing for Versa in your account.

Are you on Android? If so, click Apps, then play store, then top left of the search bar, click the three lines next to google play. Click my apps and games. Google play will search for updates to your apps and show what's available.

Yes my HR 2 tracked my active minutes all the time but not this Versa. If anyone has a solution for this problem please let us know.

How did you update?

Decemberfall said "app" update, which I'm assuming means the phone app. Especially since I got a phone app update that day too. The watch has nothing to do with that. No notifications. Of course I could be wrong and there was an actual software update to the tracker?

That hasn't fixed mine.

Here's what's going on with mine. Sometimes it tracks active minutes, and sometimes it doesn't. For example, this morning it tracked 25 minutes on the treadmill, but nothing for weights. I manually entered 20 minutes of weights (my heart rate was up significantly), the 25 minutes went down to 16! What?
So then I manually entered everything, the treadmill and the weights and the minutes went down to zero. I'm seriously annoyed at this and may end up taking this stupid thing back. It makes me look like a lazy person. I even spent 6 hours outside gardening-- lifting heavy things, sweating my behind off and it said I was inactive all day. That's nonsense.

I sure did. Does anyone know how to report this to Fitbit? I'm so annoyed you have no idea.
For example, when I go to the gym I tell the fitbit I'm on the treadmill and it records that activity just fine. However, if I tell it that I'm lifting weights, it doesn't recognize it. Therefore when I look at my 'active' days, it looks like I'm a lazy slug. I tried adding the weights manually (my heart rate IS up and I'm sweating), but it still doesn't add that to my activity.
What gives, FitBit?

I've decided to return this P.O.S to Kohl's and get a cheaper model.
I've contacted their support and they keep citing some stupid article that doesn't help me at all.
I see someone mentioned the HR2- I'll do some research and find a different one.
