Hiya, Is anyone having the same problem? I've worn different fitbits for years and never encountered this problem, but with the Versa it recognises when I go to sleep, but 4 out of 5 nights has me waking for an hour or more (I am definitely NOT awake) so logs one part of the sleep as a nap, then logs the rest of the night separately. Sleep sensitivity is normal, I'm not starting anything manually and I can't figure out what's going on! Very frustrating as my sleep stats are all over the place.

Hello @Mellou, nice to have you here as a new member of the Fitbit Community. I saw your Versa is recording 1+ hour of awake time in your logs despite you are not awake. Thank you for reviewing the sensitivity of your tracker on your own.
Make sure you are sleeping in a comfortable position. If you slept in a position that prevented your device from getting a consistent heart-rate reading or wore it too loosely, it may present some inaccuracies.
For best results, wear your device higher on your wrist (about 2-3 finger widths above your wrist bone). The band should feel secure but not too tight.
If the issue persists, feel free to perform a restart: How do I restart my Fitbit device?
See you later and hope this helps.

Mine has shown 1 hour th first night and 3 the second. I have no idea what is going on. Maybe I should return it.

Thanks I'll give that a go - maybe it was too loose.

Hello there @Mellou and thanks for joining us @Kalush.
@Kalush, have you tried to perform a restart in your tracker, just to confirm? If you haven't please give it a try.
If the issue continues, try to set up your tracker again as a replacement in your Fitbit Dashboard and give it a try again. As a reference in case you need some help about this process, refer to this post.
See you later!

I have the same issue. Its saying I am going to bed at 2am waking up at 3am then going back to bed at 4am and I was for sure asleep that entire time! I just set it up as a new device 2 nights ago. weird....I tried to edit my sleep and now I think I just messed it up worse.

Hi I just received my Versa for mother’s day and having the same issue with tracking sleep. This morning my wake up time was off by 4 hours which is insane. My main concern is if this function is so far off, what other items are being reported incorrectly? I’m starting to think I am wearing a poor attempt at the Apple i-Watch and not happy with our choice.

My sleep app seemed amazing for first two weeks then last night stopped tracking at 1am. I manually put in wake time and it then showed data for sleep and restless in this time. I imagine the restless is awake time. But it didn’t differentiate between deep light REM and awake. It seems there was some data there though, so would this be a syncing issue or a contact with arm issue. Or even the fact that my resting heart rate appears to have lowered quite a bit over the period. So if restless or in rem it may have thought I was awake. Hope it’s s once off. Fingers crossed

That's exactly the my Versa is doing! In the morning is show's nothing recorded or it shows an hour of sleep. That's why I bought it in the first place. No more Fitbits!
