Versa not recording heart rate

Hi, 

My Fitbit Versa is not recording my heart rate, and the green light at the back is not even lighting up. 

 

I went for a swim yesterday, after I rinsed it and left it hanging to dry as I have been doing all summer and it was okay. Some time later it seems to have stopped working. Since then I have gone into settings and turned the heart rate off and back on, and even restarted the device but still nothing. 

Tried charging it for a bit (even though there was sufficient battery), but not even this worked. 

Any idea how to solve this please??

Try resetting versa to factory defaults. Just sync it first as the hard reset will wipe it. I'm afraid tho that sensor got water damaged (yes, I am aware versa is supposed to be swimproof).

I agree with @Marrrmaduke. Try a Factory reset (settings app on the watch and scroll down to About). If that doesnt fix it, contact Support (link in my signature)

Thanks @Marrrmaduke and @NellyG for your replies, unfortunately still unsuccessful here. 

 

I turned the heart rate on and off, switched my versa off, did a hard reset ... None of these worked for me. I have now emailed support. Hoping i’ll get a solution asap
