First of all, I am in my seconds Versa replacement for other technical problems. Now today during a spin class I noticed my heart bpm’s were not registering. Tried turning it on and off, checking settings, nothing has worked. Anyone else have these problems? I’m bummed because I love my Versa but thinking of going another route ....

@CarrieDr Have you tried toggling heart sensor on/off? I would try it several times with syncing in-between. Also, is your versa syncing without issues? When you noticed HR wasn't being recorded, how much battery was left? It is not unusual for Versa to stop HR measurements if the battery is critically low (10% or so). As a last resort, you can perform a factory reset, but this will wipe your versa entirely. You will need to remove it from your Fitbit account (delete in Fitbit mobile app) and from your phone's Bluetooth settings. After performing factory reset, you will have to add Versa again (in Fitbit mobile app).

@CarrieDr I know how you feel. It happened to me yesterday. After the battery level dropped to 10%, it turned off syncing and HR. Resumed everything after I fed it. Greedy beast. 😋

@CarrieDr and the weirdest thing is I never noticed this happening before! But, I never worked out with such low battery, so might as well have missed it. Noticed it entirely by accident. 😊

@CarrieDr I noticed (with all of my wrist trackers) that if I'm really pushing it and sweat a lot, the moisture that accumulates under the sensors, skews the readings. So I quickly wipe under with the shirt, or move the versa on my arm, wipe the skin, and re-position it. You're probably pushing hard during spin classes. It happens to me all the time when I'm on my cross-country skiing machine. Cleaning the tracker after each workout is a good idea! 😊

@CarrieDr Does it react to 2-button reboot? Or nothing?

@CarrieDr One more thing that we can try here is a 3-button factory reset. We obviously cannot see the screen, so it will be tricky:
You may need to attempt the reset a few times to find the optimal times. Trying holding the buttons longer, as long as it's needed for the vibration to appear. The strong vibration is crucial. No vibration, no factory reset. It might be difficult, I had people on the forum trying to reset for hours before they finally succeeded. I hope it works, but honestly you might need yet another replacement. 😞
