I got my new Versa yesterday and it only counted 96 steps for the day. I am constantly walking and I know I walk about 6 to 7 thousand during my time at work. Today only 23 steps are counted and it takes more in an that just OP get to my car. Can someone please explain what's happening?

I’ve read this entire thread without a solution!

Mine started doing the not paring thing last week. I missed getting a workout synced to the app my fitness centre uses. I’ve not had a problem until this past week.

It’s worked since I bought the Versa. Now all of a sudden it’s lost.

I have an iPhone & it’s never been a problem until last week!

My laptop is an HP. But, I still want it paired to my phone for ease of access throughout my day. Isn’t it SUPPOSED. To work with any phone??? At least that’s what it was advertised as! I need a solution asap!

I have had my versa quite a while and it has worked well until yesterday.  it stopped counting steps and today it's not counting anything.  I did the reset as described but it didn't help.

Try getting a new watch face. That worked for me. Good luck!

It was my battery going dead. Fitbit had me drain the battery, then see how long it lasted. They sent me a new Versa because it only lasted a day.

Thanks for posting this! My watch face went haywire yesterday after only having the Versa for about 9 months. I tried everything and still nothing. I changed the clock face and voila, it’s back to normal!

Tried to restart as instructed but still won’t track steps. It’s tracking my heart rate so I know it’s working on some level.

My Fitbit Versa sometimes only registers part of the time I do on the elliptical ie. 19 minutes instead of 40 and lately has been registering three times as many floors of steps as I actually do.  One night last week my sleep was way off as well.  It used to be fairly accurate.

I tried restarting it.  Still is not recording steps and heart rate

I have an issue as well. Resetting does not help. In my fit app dashboard I use to see the steps count as I walk. However, ever since i chose to use the updated dashboard that was offered to me, it just stays the same until I refresh or close and open the app. I want my steps to count as I move. This will probably be the last time I buy a Fitbit.

Did you try getting a new watch face? That's what I ended up doing and it
worked.
Good luck!

Thanks Kltracy.  I did try that and it does seem to help.  I still notice that it doesn't seem to be always accurate.  Although changing the watch face did seem to make it track a little more consistently.

Thanks

I did the recommended fix, but it still is not registering my steps.

My Versa stopped registering steps today. I have my miles, active minutes, calories, and floors, but NO steps. I tried resetting my tacker multiple times. I uninstalled and reinstalled the app. I changed clock faces. Nothing works. I chose NOT to update the tracker when it alerted me there was a new format. I don't know if that is related to this issue now.

I chose to update it. Either way it doesn't register unless you slide down to update which is bull because you use to didnt have to manually update is

Tried the restart procedure described and tested the device again. Counted one step and then got stuck again. Brand new watch, unboxed yesterday and already malfunctioning.

Can you give me a phone to Fitbit I had my watch off for two days and I picked it up today and it said I had already walked 192 steps

I just looked it up online. I think it was like.. in the contact us spot. But they never could fix it over the phone. I tried sending emails and no luck. But like a month or two later it just started working when I tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app. I tried this before and it never worked but it did this time. So maybe it will help yall? 🤷🏽‍:male_sign:
