Versa not registering my steps

I got my new Versa yesterday and it only counted 96 steps for the day. I am constantly walking and I know I walk about 6 to 7 thousand during my time at work. Today only 23 steps are counted and it takes more in an that just OP get to my car. Can someone please explain what's happening?

I said the same thing! My warrenty was about to expire. I ended up getting a new/refurbished 1 from Fitbit because my original 1 just stopped working. Now, 6 months later this 1 is still working in all aspects....except tracking my steps!! So frustrating! I love Fitbit....but their product sucks for the cost.

4 days ago my fitbit versa stopped counting calories burned, sleep cycles
and active minutes. I think my step calculations are off too. ( same
exact walk (lap) first time registers 1,000 steps and the very next lap
only 502. Im so frustrated. Then for the past 2 days it hasn't registered
any active minutes even though I've been more active than before. And it
stopped registering my sleep at all. I depend on my versa so much. Please
help.

I did reboot, I have rest my watch & nothing is working. My fitbit Versa isn't tracking anything except my calories. Is there anything else I can try?

My old versa 2 broke.  I just bought another one less than 24 hours ago, but the new versa is not counting ANY steps at all on the watch or the app.  I restarted the watch (reset to factory settings), removed the watch from my app and phone, but still the same thing.  I'm so frustrated this isn't working!!!!  I read through the replies, which I did (reset it) but no change in result.  What do I do!?!?

I am having the same problem.  I turned it on and off and did a reset.  It is still not tracking any of my steps.  Can you advise the next step?

I contacted Fitbit directly via the online chat.  To clarify my brand new versa 2 isn’t counting a single step, or stairs, exercise, nothing.  The only thing it is tracking is calories which doesn’t seem accurate.  Again....BRAND new.  I would contact them via their online chat.

Since I bought my Versa 2 I’ve had absolutely no issues with step tracking. Everything is working great.

I bought the Versa 2 in January. Since then I’ve had no issues with it counting steps at all.

I haven’t had any issues with my Versa 2. With Versa 1 I got results from changing the clock face.

Try changing the clock face. It worked on my Versa 1.  Since I’ve bought the Versa 2, I’ve had no issues at all.

It was the beginning of My Fitbit’s demise —the screen went to a
Milky white flickering mode—then died —since I had it less than a year I contacted FitBit directly and they sent me a new one.

I have a LG G5 phone, steps are registering on my Versa 2, but not on my phone.....how can I fix this... Also it stops pairing every few days. So I have to turn off Bluetooth and on again to connect, any cure for this !!!!

My fitbit versa isn't registering my steps and I have restart it a couple times now. It says I took 177 steps all day today and 84 yesterday even though I ran 4 miles. I've messed.with the stride length but no luck.

I just did a long walk, the versa 3 did not record any steps.  I restarted the Fitbit, force stopped the app, and my steps are not counted.  It also stopped recording sleep and no phone calls.

I got to settings and try to to pair, it says I need an app (which I have).  Everyday I have to unpair and repair this device!

So once again I uninstalled and reinstalled the app.  That worked, but my steps I just walked were not recorded.  Why do I have a step tracker that doesn’t work.  Everyday I have to do this!  Ridiculous

I had the same problem, until I installed the app on my IPad. Now when I update the app on my IPad it automatically updates the app on my phone…..no problem counting steps since then..
