Versa not registering "hourly" 250 steps?

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

My Versa logged over 10,000 steps for me today (which I believe is accurate) and yet there are NO hours that show I reached the 250/hour goal.  I also did not get any hourly reminders.
The steps are not showing on the step graph either.  According to the line graph I've walked approximately 160 steps total all day.

On the Fitbit app on y our phone, click on the Hourly Activity tile - the “Are you ready to move” and then click on the gear in the upper right corner - is Reminders to Move turned on?  Have you set the start time, end time and days?  The reminders to move and the count toward 250 will only happen between those hours on the days chosen.

Yes, the reminders are set and are working on times when I don't hit the 250 (exactly as expected).

My issue is that I know that I completed 250 steps most of those hours, but on my dashboard, it is showing as 0 of 10 hours.  As you can see, the steps are not registering on the bar graph either.

I don’t know the answer.  My go-to problem solver is to restart the Versa but you say you. Have done that.  Your dashboard is different than mine - I want, and don’t have, lifetime steps...do you have lifetime miles on the miles tile also?  I think it would be great to know how close I am to the next mileage badge.

OOOH!!! I know the answer to this one.  On the lifetime steps/miles thingy if you click on the little icon there's a drop down so you can switch it.  Like on mine, for steps, it looks like feet.  Yours probably looks like the google navigation pointy thing.  But anyway, if you use that drop down menu, you can pick whichever you want to see.

Oh, that's on my computer, I don't think it shows that on my phone.  Sorry 😞

Thanks @Skyybluepurple didn't know that lifetime steps was there.

@wtchambers if you go to the Fitbit website and look at your dashboard, when you select the steps graph if you select daily the lifetime steps appear.

I don't see it on the iphone app.

It is registering my active hours today, however.. It removed all of my days before today for whatever reason..

TempestFire - if you deleted stairs/floors, you would go all green without them!  That is why I want to delete them - stairs play no part in my life and I hate seeing the zeros....

This is happening to me as well. It must be a bug, and a really upsetting one! 😣

This just started happening Yesterday & today to me with my fitbit.  It doesn't register any active minutes for my steps.  It's registering how many steps throughout the day-but not hourly and no reminders.

I've done everything I have read to do, updated everything-I even deleted the app & re-installed.

So frustrating!!!!!!  Any other suggestions?

This has happened intermittently for me over the last few months but today, nothing... No reminders and if I do get up and walk the app isn't updating to show the 250.   My versa shows that I completed the 250 steps each hour but the app doesn't seem to recognize it... I restarted my Versa, deleted the app and reinstalled, checked my Bluetooth connection... still nothing... Frustrating, especially when you work at a desk and need those hourly reminders to move!

I am on my third new Versa (Fitbit has replaced it twice) and I am seriously starting to consider an Apple Watch.

It is frustrating! I am going to contact them, mine isn’t a year old yet! Hope they do something to fix or replace it.

my versa 2 quit telling me good job after the hourly 250 steps. It doesn’t warn me either, that the hour is almost up. It does show on Fitbit app that I did the steps but I miss the other.
