My Versa would not sync with my phone app or pc account, messaged Fitbit customer service who went through all of the troubleshooting again with me (I had already done this) and it still didn't work. Was then advised to do a Factory Reset which I said I would do once I had time as they have you on forever doing this and that...so, I have done a factory reset and now my watch is just showing the Fitbit logo and telling me to install the app. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the app on my phone and it brings up my usual account but the watch is still showing Fitbit logo. When I go to add a 'new device' to the app it cannot find my watch. I'm losing faith in this watch now and I am not happy at all, I've had it since May and it's been fine up until a few days ago. The message service seems closed now and now I have no watch and a useless app.

Mine did ever come back on. I cleaned the contacts and plugged it into my computer, and the wall and I still get a zero battery. So I went and bought a new one. I did not get the Versa this time, I got the charge 3 instead. My versa is not even a year old.

I have tried the 2 button and 3 button options after much charging, holding for long periods. Neither works and my Versa 2 remains black screened after a factory resent. What is the next option?

Mine only lasted 2 months. Very disappointed. Won't buy another. Cost too high for a month or two of use.

My fitbit was still tracking but I had nothing showing on my screen. Followed all the instructions provided and as a last resort did the factory reset. Of course I lost all my info and now the versa is not paired to my app so while it will charge and the app can find my versa to reinstall, I cant see the four digit code on my screen to get it paired. So disappointed. The watch was 2 years old to the day. I wish I never did the reset as at least it was still tracking my info even if I couldnt see the screen. The help center has offered me 35% off a new tracker but the link only gives 25%. I paid quite a bit for the watch and took care of it. Seems like this happens alot. I guess I will check out garmin...

Hi, I have the same problem.
In the last one week or two, the GPS is not working, and suddenly the step count is error since it was reported 90k while my usual steps are approx 10k only.
So, I decided to reset to the factory settings, but it won't turn on again after I hit the reset button.
I have tried to push altogether 3 buttons or 2 buttons (back and bottom buttons) for almost more than 1 mins but it also not working.
Kindly advise.

Have the same. My battery was running out fast, because of little solid green light so I decided to do factory reset. Now it's not turning back again, even that I was charging it overnight. I'm shocked. Help!

Mine reset but still refuses to sync. I tried restarting it, and it wouldn’t turn on for hours. When it finally turned on, it was hours behind. Overnight it turned on with the logo on but nothing happened and the battery died. I charged it, it turned on but thought it was 7 pm yesterday when it was 11 am today. It froze again, and it’s back to being stuck on the blue logo. At this point, I’m looking at other brands.

I have one of the gen 1 Versys and it was working good, the. I did and Tory reset and now it is dead as dead. Just a black screen on the front and no lights lit on the back. I did all the suggestions shown here to no avail so I called support. The gentleman was very nice and courteous but he could offer no solution and since it’s out of warranty he could offer little help. This is the second Versa I have had that has crapped out on me and I have decided that I will just have to go to a different brand in order to buy a reliable product.

Would you believe that they received my versa on 24.08 and since then it's
just sitting in their warehouse. I'm on the chat every day and no one can
help me as they await for warehouse to be moved forward. And they cannot
give me any time frame? It's a pure joke.

I had a bluetooth issue so I factory rest the watch from the watch settings menu. Battery was at 95%. Was regularly getting 2+ days out of the battery. Factory reset. Completely dead. Well almost. After a week off the charger, it says 0% battery when I press all three buttons. If I charge it for more than 30 seconds, it no longer responds... Until the battery drops to 0% again.
I am now pretty sure that the factory reset menu option on the watch is erasing and bricking the watch and there is no OS on the watch anymore. If fitbit wanted, they could provide an OS flash resource...
Since I am just barely out of warranty, Fitbit tells me to screw off.
They can provide the software to fix it, but are refusing... But of course they just want us to buy a new device instead.
Fitbit is intentionally bricking our devices.
Terrible company Fitbit is. Greedy.

Hold down the button (reboots device after ~8 seconds).
Wait until the static logo disappears.
Release the button briefly (less than 2 seconds), and hold the button down again.
Wait until a long vibration is felt.
