It was working properly for a day, but now all I see is the clock face and when I swipe in any direction, all I see is a screen of numbers like a calculator. 1-9 and 0 then an arrow at bottom right corner and 4 dots at bottom left.

 

I figured it out! I needed to unlock my watch and set up pass code.
