Hi, contact Customer Support about your problems.

I have to sit at my desktop to change clock faces. Sync only works at my desktop. Maybe try being very near to your router. I have found if I place my versa on the router, open the Fitbit app on the phone, then click wifi settings in the app, I will see the wifi logo come on the watch face, then it will sync. So now I believe it is a WiFi problem, not Bluetooth issues like the watch says it is having.

Hi, if you think WiFi is the problem, try the following:
1. Put your Versa in the charger and connect it to your PC
2. For certainty, do the same with your phone
3. Wthin the Fitbit app, go to WiFi settings and press it.
4. You should see now the name of your network with right next to it the WiFi icon in white
5. Press the WiFi icon and Fitbit starts connecting to your network
6. When this is established, the white WiFi icon turns to blue and says connected
7. To check whether your Versa is also connected to WiFi, go to settings on your Versa, press it and scroll down to Device Info and press that too. If you see an IP adress there, your Versa is connected, but only as long as it's in the charger and connected to your PC.
In case that in point 4 there is no network present: press add new network and Fitbit will start searching for it. Once found, press the name and enter manually the password of your router/network. The rest is than the same. Good luck.

I didn't have to put it in the charger. If I just set my versa on my router. Then do as you say, it will sync. If I'm away from my router, the versa won't sync and says it's Bluetooth problems. My wifi has a great signal all throughout my house. But I can only get the versa to see the wifi if it is right on my router. Once there it works fine. But I should not have to do that. Just a pain, and this is my 2nd versa. If I put my blaze back on there are no problems. The blaze does not use wifi.

Hi, although you have a strong WiFi signal in your house, the reason why you cannot sync when your Versa is away from your router, is that the Versa on it's own does not have WiFi bu uses either your PC or phone as a bridge to connect to your home's network.

Thank you. Yes I understand that. But it should not have problems syncing away from my router, as any other devices away from my router work fine. Phone, tablet, TV. That is why I am saying wifi is the issue and not bluetooth.

Hi, the other devices you mention have WiFi, the Versa not, but I agree with you that's strange that your Versa has to be so near to your router. BTW, the reason why I sais to put the Versa in the charger and connect it to your PC, is for that reason. Most router are usually not placed nearby/in the vicinity of your PC, but mostly placed at a certain distance and hidden in a closet.

I just tried a test. Left my versa on my router, went outside with my phone, about 50 feet away (not sure) and it synced. Came back in got the versa went outside to the same spot, and it will not sync, saying Bluetooth issues.

In principle that BT message is correct, cause 50 feet is about the max reach of BT.

Probably true, but in this case I can see that bluetooth is not the issue. It's wifi proximity to the versa.

@DEEPAKKUMAR @Billversa Welcome! It's nice to have you on board!
I will assist you with your Versas not syncing and its battery life and sorry for the late reply. Also thank you for following @SunsetRunner instructions. Please note that the bluetooth limit is around 20 ft (walls and other objects may reduce this as they interfere with the signal). Regarding the syncing issues which phone are you using? Is it compatible? You can try going to your phone's bluetooth settings and remove all devices listed there. Restart your phone and restart your device. After this try syncing them. Also, if you are using an Android device, check that your app has the necessary permissions (settings > apps > Fitbit > permissions) and make sure bluetooth and location services (GPS) are on. You can find additional suggestions here.
For the battery issues please try cleaning the contacts using cotton with rubbing alcohol then charge it by plugging it for a couple of hours directly to your computer's usb port (try different ports) or use an UL listed usb wall adapter. After this, restart your device and see how it behaves.
@DEEPAKKUMAR what did support tell you? Were they able to help you?
Let me know how it goes.
