I am thinking I missed a setting somewhere. Because since I got this replacement and it's been updated, it seems any text messages, I get will only give me the options of Open (open text message app on my phone so I can reply) or Close (actually dismisses the text on the tracker).
I don't have the option to quick reply, although I did at one point less than a month ago before I got my replacement. Any ideas anyone please? If it means anything, I am and have been using Textra with no issues until now. Thanks for any help.

@SunsetRunner Where does it state this? I am Android so I can't see anything in the Apple version of the Fitbit app.

@SunsetRunner This article specifically refers to messages sent through the community tab of the Fitbit app. Messages like cheers during a Challenge. You cannot utilize the Quick Reply function associated with text messages, WhatsApp messages, Facebook messenger messages, etc. This is only available for Android 7.0 and up. It's confusing but the two types of messages are managed differently but sound similar.

I sought of have that problem but I have never had the option to use reply I have watched so many YouTube's nothing works I mainly use facebook messenger. None of my sisters are able to use quick replies either I have versa 2 one of my sisters has versa 1 and the other has the lite versa please help

I am using Textra and have my settings set up as suggested . I get notifications and I'm able to reply from my Versa 2 EXCEPT for one contact. Seriously, when I receive texts from my wife (also using Textra) I don't have the option to reply. Any idea on why this is?

Hi there is just got my Versa 2 and I have a Mi9t android and my tracker is doing the same thing where it only gives me the open or close option how do I get it to reply on my device? Do I have to download a third party messaging app? I would hate to have to do that

It states that it should work with Android 4 and higher mine is new it's an Android 11 which is actually higher than the newest samsung

Okay I just was informed by customer service that it's not one of their tested ones lists. Is there anyway to download a third party messaging app that may work with the replying to notification despite the phone not being tested?

I fixed this by allowing my phone to show me the preview of the message! Now it also shows the preview of my message on my Versa 2, and I can now reply to it from the versa!
I have samsung s10, with stock messages app. 🙂

Does anyone have a solution for the Sense using Android. I've just spent 2 hours on the chat to FB and they cannot resolve the problem. I don't want to change anymore settings or unpair the bluetooth ever again.
Surely it cannot be this techinical that the phone does not accept the standard settings. We literally changed everything possible and it still does not allow Quick Replies.

Same here, get notifications on my samsung S7 running android 8. No quick reply to text, gmail's or my private email address or Messenger. I give up. Tried everything.
