Versa not showing sleep stages

When I did the update to my versa, I lost the ability to look at my sleep in deep, light, REM and awake.  Please let's get this feature back!  Or is there something I can do to switch it on?

@lsiegert Welcome! It's great to see you around! Sorry for the delay in my reply.

Let me help you with your missing Sleep Stages. You may not get sleep stages for the following reasons:

  • If you slept in a position that prevented your device from getting a consistent heart-rate reading or wore it too loosely. For best results, wear your device higher on your wrist (about 2-3 finger widths above your wrist bone). The band should feel secure but not too tight.
  • If you used the Begin Sleep Now option in the Fitbit app (instead of simply wearing your device to bed). For more information on automatic sleep tracking, see How do I track my sleep?
  • If you slept for less than 3 hours.
  • If your device’s battery is critically low.

Let me know how it goes.

Hi there;

The suggestion you made for my sleep stages did not help. Is it possible
that is was a software update, or is something not working in my Fitbit? I
used to get these phases of sleep: awake, REM, light deep. Now I am
getting: awake, restless, and awake/restless. Why did this change? Please
advise. I have already changed my setting from sensitive to normal and
nothing changed. Thanks.

This happens when I nap during the day. Are the date and time (zone) up to date on your watch?
