Versa not showing weather

Dear community,

 

My fitbit Versa does not show weather on the screen. Instead it says - "Sync the Fitbit mobile app to update" . I have updated multiple times but it's still the same message.

 

Am I missing out on something? my Versa is connected through IPhone and I use the inbuilt weather app on my phone.

Hi, are you using another Clock Face than one of Fitbit itself? If yes, I would like to suggest two things:

1. Install a Clock Face made by Fitbit itself.

2. If you're using a Third Party clock face, would you be so kind to send me the name of it?

Thanks for responding Kuzibri.

I am using clock named "Coalfaxness" designed by "dezign999".

 

I just synced and clock face still says - "fetching".

Where did you get this Watch Face from? Cannot find it it "All Clocks" after typing in the name of the Face or the Developer?

Edit: found it, it's called Colfaxness!!

Hi, read my post about your Clock face. The reason why your weather is not showing in this Clock face because it uses a different provider that Fitbit does. Your clock face uses Gregoiresage as a provider whilst Fitbit uses AccuWeather. that's the reason of your problem. So the only solution is either to find a Third Party Clock Face that uses the same provider or one of Fitbit itself. In the last case I'm afraid they will not show the weather, but this is a matter of trial and error!

Hello, I have updated my Versa 2 and having the same issue.  Went through the notification updates and steps and that is working fine but weather is not telling me to sync.  I have synced many many many times and also restarted the Fitbit and reset the WiFi many times.  It was working but stopped two days ago.  I verified blue tooth works too plus using the original watch face from Fitbit. Now what???
