Versa not syncing and last 24 hours

I would just be happy if it would sync with the app and not tell me device not found and if the battery would last longer than 24 hours.

@Moveoc19 Welcome to the Fitbit Community! It's great to have you here! Sorry for the delay in my reply.

Let me help you with your Versa not syncing nor holding its charge. Which phone are you using? Is it compatibleYou can try the following:

  • Go to your phone's bluetooth settings and remove all devices listed there.
  • Restart your phone and restart your device
  • Also, if you are using an Android device, check that your app has the necessary permissions (settings > apps > Fitbit > permissions) and make sure bluetooth and location services (GPS) are on. 
  • You can find additional suggestions here.

For the battery try cleaning the contacts using cotton with rubbing alcohol then charge it by plugging it for a couple of hours directly to your computer's usb port (try different ports) or use an UL listed usb wall adapter. You can also find additional suggestions here.

Why does the phone compatibility matter and not the android version. My
phone runs on android one, and it worked for 8 month and after the last
update (august) most of the functions stopped, like wallet, notifications
and seeing who called.

The battery charge lasted a few days, and now with nothing working only 24
hours.

I know how to use my versa, and I know how to jump through hoops to get it
going again, we went through that with the tracker 2.

Get the APP working as it should, make it work for ANDROID and not for
phones, or maybe it's just time to stop using fitbit.

One question though, why does the trouble start with tan update and the
release of a new version of either Versa or the tracker?

My Versa is brand new and it’s not syncing regularly as it should. A tad frustrating especially when you are engaged in challenges and your FitBit shows one set of numbers and the App challenge show another
