Versa not syncing hourly steps properly

I have had the versa for a few months and I have an Android phone. For the first few months I had no consistent issues with the hourly 250 step indicator. within the past week or so it will not sync and when it does it often takes away the dot after some random period of time whether it is 5 min or 24 hours. Monday I did over 24K steps and my hours for 250 steps are 10am to 9pm, my watch shows that I made 11/11, the phone indicates none of those hours successfully achieved 250 steps. Earlier today I showed one dot for the 12pm hour, and it has mysteriously disappeared. This seems to be consistently be an issue every day for about a week. I have turned on and off the phone, I have manually synced, I have installed updates to the phone app, I have force stopped the app and started again. I am at a loss... The sleep indicator is a bit off as well .... Did you all just do a versa update that hijacked Droid functionality??

I'm having the same problem.  I've only had the Versa a few weeks but it isn't tracking steps taken.  It'll increase in steps while i'm washing dishes,  washing my hair or any other arm movement but it isn't tracking steps correctly.  It doesn't track at all while I'm pushing a cart in the grocery store. It WILL track using the treadmill because my arm is swinging.  My Charge 2 did better than this !!
