Versa not syncing with my Google Pixel 2XL.

I got my versa a couple days ago, and had no issues connecting. I then shut it down for a day since I wasn't wearing it. When turning back on, it wasn't connecting to the Bluetooth on my phone (Google Pixel 2XL), it said there's a pin/passcode issue. I then tried replacing it in the Fitbit app, but once it finds it, it won't move to the next step of a passcode. I don't want to reset or delete it, since I just finished setting up all everything. Any ideas? Thanks

Hello @Nava, thanks for joining the Fitbit Community, it's great to have you on board. Smiley Happy

Thanks for bringing this situation to my attention. Tell me, have you restarted your Versa already by pressing and holding the Back and Select buttons (left and bottom right) until you see the Fitbit logo on the screen? If so and if you're still experiencing syncing issues, please try the following:

  • Make sure the latest version of the Fitbit app is installed on your phone.
  • The software on your mobile device is up to date. To check, tap Settings > General > Software Update.
  • Make sure there are no other Bluetooth devices around as they might interfere with the syncing process
  • Check that your Fitbit device's battery isn't critically low.

If your device still won't sync, try these steps:

  1. Force quit the Fitbit app.
  2. Go to Settings > Bluetooth and turn Bluetooth off and back on.
  3. Open the Fitbit app.
  4. If your Fitbit device didn't sync, restart your phone again.
  5. Open the Fitbit app.
  6. If your Fitbit device didn't sync, restart it one more time.
  7. If your Fitbit device won't sync after the restart, log in to your Fitbit account on a different phone, tablet, or computer and try to sync.
  8. If your Fitbit device still doesn’t sync, remove all other Fitbit devices from your account and from the list of connected Bluetooth devices on your mobile device and try to sync.

Please give these steps a try before trying to set up your Versa as a new device in your account. Please note that setting up your tracker as a new device will not delete any information stored in your account.

I hope this can be helpful, give it a try and let me know the outcome.

Versa is not fully compatible with Pixel 2, or XL. The Bluetooth does bor connect. My versa got stuck in the syncing process and the only way to reset it was with a phone that would read the Bluetooth connection with Versa. It took my work phone, Moto Z2 Play, to reset the versa and begin using it again. If you have a Pixel 2 or Pixel 2 XL the versa does not fully connect and there is no solution yet from Google.

My versa synced for a month with my 2XL, then just stopped. I've tried all of these steps. U get the same error, invalid pass key.
