Versa not syncing

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

I got my Versa set up last night, after multiple times of it failing but now today it will not sync at all. It's so frustrating. I went to the compatiblilty link and my device is not listed at all.  Does that mean not compatible?  The words on the link say something like find your phone to see which things were compatible so I assumed it would tell me if it's not.... But maybe not. I've tried turning Bluetooth off and the Fitbit off.  It's just weird that it did get through initially if it's not compatible.  Any help would be great .I have a new Moto E5 Play phone.

If your phone is not on the list of supported devices at www.fitbit.com/devices then it can mean one of two things:

  • Your phone has been tested by fitbit and does not work, or works only partially, with fitbit trackers
  • It has not yet been tested and may or may not work

Given that you had initial success let's hope it's the latter.

When syncing / connection issues arise (as they do from time to time) it's worth restarting your phone and then restarting your fitbit using this procedure:

  1. Press and hold the back (left) and bottom buttons until you see the Fitbit logo on the screen. This should take less than 10 seconds.
  2. Let go of the buttons.

You might also try forgetting the fitbit in your phone's bluetooth settings. If it still won't sync after that then there are some more ideas to try in this help file: https://help.fitbit.com/articles/en_US/Help_article/1866/
