I have a StreetStrider which is an outdoor elliptical bicycle (a cross between running and bike riding), but none of the exercises on my Versa fitbit will track it properly. I have tried tracking with biking, walking, elliptical, & workout. Biking and walking track miles, but not an accurate step count. The website is streetstrider.com so you can get more details on it.
Any suggestions??

I also have a StreetStrider and absolutely love it! But Merma is right: None of the available exercise shortcuts track it properly. Because you stand on the skis and propel the bike using both legs and arms it is an incredible workout. The Bike shortcut must underestimate the effort used to cover a given distance because it is much harder than riding a bicycle. The elliptical shortcut does not use GPS and thus doesn't count the mileage. Any chance to get am elliptical cycle exercise shortcut?

Have you tried placing the Fitbit on your shoe? That's the only way I can get an elliptical to track my steps.

What a great idea, Danyel74! I will try this tomorrow and see what happens.
