Versa not tracking data on bike rides

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

Tracked my data just fine on a ride on Saturday. Almost nothing on Sunday or today (Wednesday) but the total daily calorie burn seems to update. Yes I checked to make sure I started the app on the watch. When it did track distance was quite a bit different than my bike computer and iPhone.

Also, when it asks if I would like to respond to a survey and I say "yes, when I am done" why does it take me directly to the survey before I have had a chance to use the Community Forum?

Hi @Helpimfalling, due to the recent events, I apologize for the delayed response. However, let me welcome you to our Fitbit Community.

I'd like to follow up and help you with your Fitbit Versa since the bike activities data is not being tracked properly. By the way, thank you for troubleshooting this issue before contacting our forums.

Please restart your Versa as described in this help article. Also, I'd like to share this help page, which explains how your Fitbit device tracks your outdoor bike activities automatically.

Finally, monitor your watch for the next bike activity and see if the issue gets fixed.

Regarding the survey page issue, please try clearing cache and cookies of your Internet browser and see if it the issue gets fixed as well.

Keep me posted on the outcome.

The issue with the bike tracking seemed to be the with the watch going into paused mode if I didn't start riding within the 15 seconds at the beginning of the ride. I now check it to make sure it doesn't stay on Pause. This doesn't seem to be a problem later in the ride.

My issue now is the watch doesn't respond in the morning if I wear it at night. I can't stop the alarm and it is usually 10 minutes before I can get it to respond to any touch. I've stopped wearing the watch at night and it seems to have fixed the problem. I can't get sleep readings now.

I'm not very impressed with the watch.
