Welcome to the Fitbit Community, @mlarboneaux. I am sorry for the delayed response.
I am glad to assist you with your concern regarding your Fitbit Versa tracking the distance correctly. Thank you for providing the additional details. If you feel that your distance is inaccurate, confirm the following are correct in the Fitbit app:
Fitbit devices calculate distance by multiplying your walking steps and walking stride length. Similarly, your running steps are multiplied by your running stride length. Since we use height to estimate your walking and running stride lengths, you may want to measure and manually adjust these values if your legs are longer or shorter than average. For more information, see How do I measure and adjust stride length for my Fitbit device?
You can learn how to manually add or change your Fitbit data and activities in this help article: How do I add, edit, or delete Fitbit data and activities?
I'll be around if you need further assistance.

I have done all the steps and made sure that my height is correct. I am concerned because my husband and I have the same device. We walk 5 miles per day and his calculated right but mine is almost a mile less than his. I am not sure what to do now. Thanks!
