Versa not tracking heart rate & battery draining

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

In the last couple of weeks I've noticed my versa battery draining quicker than normal. Usually it holds a charge for at least 4 days. Now I'm lucky if it can hold a charge for a day and a half. It also hasn't been tracking heart rate since July 11th and I'm getting basic sleep details which I'm sure is because of loss of heart rate tracking. The green light on the back of the tracker still comes on. I've removed unnecessary apps, alarms, switched it to dim, switched my charger to different outlets, and restarted it numerous times. I'm trying to avoid doing a factory reset. Does anyone have any solutions?

That's been happening to me too what I did was contact Fitbit and with my warranty on the Versa I just sent it back to Fitbit and it didn't cost either and they gave me a new Fitbit but I don't know what they would do if you don't have a warranty so I would just ask them and see what they say. I hope I helped you a little with the problem. And with the heart rate I just went into the settings on my watch and I looked for the heart rate and it will say if it's turned on or not and if it's not then just tap it to turn it on.

I check the heart rate setting on the watch and it is on. I thought it was working again,, but sometimes the HR screen is just stuck on 82 and sometimes it's grayed out. Thanks for the advice I will contact fitbit!

Update: The day after I posted this, my watch screen went completely black and would not come back on. I tried connecting it to the charger and it got extremely hot. I contacted Fitbit support and they are supposed to be sending me an email with shipping label to return the watch & charger but have not received it yet.

also encountering same issue with a year and a half old watch that belongs to my brother in law.  Reporting it on my account as I'm the husband of his legal guardian (my wife).  Checking in to see if it was registered with another name as it was purchased for him by his siblings/spouses for Christmas a year ago.
