My Fitbit versa 2 is not tracking my heart rate and zone minutes properly since the January 2021 update. Anyone else?

Yes,

My Versa 2 seems to be stuck when it comes to my heart rate.  One day it showed my heart rate at 80bpm after a 30 minute walk on treadmill (too low).  I took it off to shower, put it back on and it still showed my HR at 80 even hour later after sitting, walking, running in place.  Today it's been stuck on 74bpm.

After well over an hour on the live chat with 2 different people they told me that it is not a medical device and cannot be viewed as 100% accurate. Then they told me to do a factory reset. We will see if that helps, and then post about it.

Yes. I reached out to customer service via chat and asked if anything was being done about the update and they responded "our team is looking into the issue." then they sent me an email and informed me that I couldn't get a replacement because my device was no longer under warranty (which I already knew) but gave me a discount code for 35% off a new device. No thanks, Fitbit. You clearly are aware that this is a common issue after the update. Fix it.

Wow, mine is still under warranty (bought it in July 2020), and I wasn’t offered anything. In fact, both reps spend the entire time blaming me for not understanding the math behind the heart rate monitor + zone minutes. I have had a Fitbit since 2015, I am well aware of how those two items work. I have always been a loyal customer to Fitbit, but right now I am unimpressed.

A customer service rep just had me switch my watch face to a Fitbit watch face (rather than 3rd party) and so far it’s working (1 hour in). 🤞🏼

Wow same, I thought I was alone.

Since this last update its basically impossible to track exercise....

In one wrist I have my versa 2 registering 90bpm and on the other wrist I have my fiancé apple watch registering 175bpm.

Just ridiculous

I tried changing the watch face and then did a cycling workout and it seemed like it was maybe helping but as soon as my heart rate got into the 170s the same issue came back up. It shot back down to 120 and started going back up. So frustrating.

I agree. I did the same thing yesterday and during my workout on the elliptical my heart rate went from 83 to 138 to 110 and then all over the place. I am really not impressed, and feel that an update to fix the mistakes made by the previous one needs to occur.
