I've had a Fitbit Ionic for a few years and loved it. Found the interface easy and the HR tracking for my exercises was always accurate.
Usually it looks like this:
I track it using the "Workout" function.
I recently upgraded to the Versa but have found that it's not tracking my HR during my workouts at all, so it doesn't accurately tell me my calorie burn. Here's what my workout looked like today, and I was doing weight lifting and other exerting exercises that should've been tracked:
HOW CAN I FIX THIS?
Is it the watch itself? Or is it that I'm using the "Workout" choice to track my exercise????

It's great to see you here @kcarm.
I appreciate the attachments and would like to know where are you seeing this information, is it from a PC or your Fitbit app? In the meantime, I recommend taking a look at this post, where you will be able to see some things that might be affecting this reading and some tips to improve it.
Hope to hear from you soon.

I have already tried those solutions, making sure to wear it properly on my wrist, etc. As I've worn an Ionic for a year+ I am pretty familiar with how it should be worn. In any case, I've gone back to using my old Ionic for now. I'm looking into returning the Versa as I don't feel it's ever going to work for me and the heart rate/exercise tracking is the #1 reason I use it. I should also mention I have tattoos on my arm where the sensor sits, and I have read others like me have the same problem with this new watch.
