Just done another factory restore and there is no scanning light for the HRM just a faint red glow.

I am exhausted doing the same resets and attempts to rectofy this issue myself.

@Toeyjoey it's great to see you in our Fitbit Community! I'm happy to assist you with your Fitbit Versa since it's not tracking your heart rate. By the way, thank you for troubleshooting this issue before contacting our forums.

I'd like you to try a factory reset. To do so on your device, open the Settings app > About > Factory Reset or Clear User Data. Please sync your watch before this in order to avoid losing current data.

Finally, check out and follow the steps that are listed in this help article. This article may contain steps that you already did but you can skip them and proceed with the rest.

Keep me posted! Smiley Happy

Already carried out all these resets, I've had it for nearly 4 months and the problems have only just started so it also has nothing to do with the fitting or position of the fitbit itself.

Still unresolved and am growing more impatient

Unfortunately I can not help you as I am still waiting for someone from the support team to get in touch with me.

My Versa has not worked properly since the 1st of July, it all started with really high BPM like 181 when sat down getting ready for bed then all of a sudden, nothing.

As soon as I hear from the support team I'll let you know

Just had the same problem and went through every step by step they offered only to find out it’s iut of warranty and they can only offer me 25% off my next purchase. What the hell. This is a defect considering I’ve had this watch for less than 5 years. I’m going to invest my money on an iWatch. Maybe I’ll have a longer life span with this watch. My daughter bought one and hasn’t had any problems with it. It’s been more than 5 years since she bought hers. Cost more but at least it will last. This is the second Fitbit watch I’ve bought and have had problems with both. The first one was still under warranty so they replaced it. Not happy with this service at all.

Sorry to hear that, seeing how I've only had mine for a few months I was offered a replacement or 50% off a brand new fitbit of choice.

Hopefully my replacement will last longer than both of ours
