Versa not tracking heart rate

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

A few days ago my Versa started saying my heart rate was really high then gave me extra high active minutes. A day or so later my versa died after just being charged a couple days prior and would not charge or turn on. I called and talked to support but there was nothing more that could be done. Today the face came back up and charged but it is now not tracking my heart rate and green lights are no longer there.

@Dana12557 welcome to our Fitbit Community! By the way, I'm sorry for the late  response. However, since you mentioned that your Fitbit Versa got back to life after contacting our Support team, I would like you to try the troubleshooting steps that are listed in this help article in order to fix the heart rate issue that your Versa is experiencing.

Keep me posted on the outcome! Smiley Happy

Hi Juan, thank you for the reply. In settings the closest thing I have to heart rate is "heart rate zone" which wants me to set a custom heart rate. There is no option that I see to do auto heart rate. I also noticed it is no longer tracking my sleep. I'm guessing this is all due to the green lights no longer working? I did restart it and nothing changed.

Mine stopped working too they said its a known issue and we have to wait for a bug fix in the new update

Just noticed mine also stopped tracking my heart rate and sleep.  So disappointing!  Will try a Garmin instead since I seem to always have issues with fitbit products.

Oh ok, thank you. That's the first I've heard that.

Hi Juan, I have tried to reset/shutdown my versa several times and after several charges. My lights are still not working so it's not tracking my heart rate or sleep pattern.  It is needing to be charged much sooner then it needed in the past. I have been checking to see if there are any updates for the Versa but it so far it is showing it's up to date. Any other ideas on how I can fix my Versa?

Thank you

Hi Dana. I’ve literally experienced the same thing over the last couple days. The HR was showing extremely high, stopped tracking completely and after trying to charge, has not turned on in a day. Did yours just randomly come back on or were you able to do something to get it to come back to life? I should note...mine seemed to have lost all forms of life during the most recent update.

Yes it just stopped working and wouldn't turn on at all.  I just kept trying to charge it even though there was no indication it was working. I would take it off the charger and press the power button and bottom right button and all buttons. Lol. After a few days it just came on. Unfortunately, it is not functioning correctly but at least I can see my steps and floors.
