Versa not tracking heart rate

Versa heart rate has stopped working. Tried restarting, turning heart rate on and off, factory reset, etc... but nothing works. This seems to be a common problem amongst Versa users recently. What is the fix?

The suggestions have not worked.  My Versa 2 was a Christmas present, so it is brand new. Please open a ticket.  If this is a known issue will the units be replaced?

Hello! 

I also have had the same issue and tried what you suggested to try and fix it. My light flashes when I take it off my wrist for a court seconds and then goes away. But it has not been tracking working.

I am having the same issue. My Versa 2 is flashing the green light but my heart rate monitor is not showing any reading. 

 

Please can someone from the CS team help me resolve this?

I'm having the same problem. Fitbit hasn't registered my heartbeat since Dec 5. No flashy lights. I have tried all of the troubleshooting you suggest up to this step. I can't do this step because my Versa only has one button...?

Hi. I am having this problem as well. My fitbit is about a year old. I have restarted 4 times in the last week and one a factory reset. There are no green flashing lights on the back anymore. All was working fine until about 3 weeks ago and now it isn't recording my heart rate at all, or an accurate burn when I am exercising.

Hi-these are my issues exactly. Tried all the previous suggestions and the factory reset.

HR stopped working 2 days ago, all else is tracking fine.

Even after the update my heart rate was not working.   It seems mysteriously it got turned off.    I found under settings on the watch a tab to turn it on.

On the Versa 2 you could try scrolling right to left until you find settings and try that.   It worked for me.

I turned it off than on again, still no luck!

Hello,

 

I am also have the same issue with my versa 2. The heart rate froze during a workout and after rebooting it worked for about an hr, then froze again. Now the is no light for tracking at all. Any help is appreciated!

Hey, I am experiencing the same issues with my Versa. Yes I've read through these threads and yes I have tried restarting it multiple times, cleaning, and doing a factory reset. Nothing has worked, my green lights on the sensor aren't lighting up at all. Can you please help? Thanks.

Same issues here with my Versa lite it was frozen at 90 and then after trying the trouble shooting tips it doesn’t show anything at all

Please help, I have a versa and the HR monitor doesn't work anymore. I've factory reset, turned on and off, updated, and cleaned the back. Nothing is bringing the green lights back.

Me too! It starts again after switching off or rebooting for about 5-10 seconds then freezes and when turn over watch the green light has gone very very dim! So dim only realised in pitch black there was something there! What is the solution?

I received the versa 2 yesterday (Feb 5th, 2021) and it hasn’t been tracking my heart rate at all. The light is flashing green and it tracked my heart beat when I am holding it directly between my fingers but once it’s in my wrist it just goes to 58bpm. I restarted it 3 times and disconnected it and reconnected... I feel like I made a bad choice purchasing 😞

Go to the Twitter- based help. This thread is useless. They stopped
monitoring it long ago. FWIW after I tried all the resets they told me I
needed to buy a new Versa.
