Versa not tracking sleep in full

In spite of actually going to sleep at least from midnight, my Versa often does not record all my sleep times. I need to get up at least 2-3 times a night for a toilet break but usually drop back to sleep quickly. I'm finding that my Versa often thinks I have only gone to sleep from 4-5 am. This really mucks up my knowledge of how well I actually sleep.

I think I've found the answer. I have lost a bit of weight during "lockdown" and my watch was able to rotate more freely around my wrist. At night I now tighten the strap by one notch. Watch is unable to rotate but is rather tighter than I'd like. However my sleep stats have been good since doing this. The one night I forgot, they were all wrong again...

Last few days, despite going to bed at 10 as usual and no changes to my sleeping habits, my versa (latest firmware) thinks I'm going to sleep at 2 or 3 in the morning.

This affects me too. I’ve rebooted the Fitbit and turned phone off n on after and still not recording it. Very disappointed after going from a charge 3 that tracked sleep and floors fine to a £200 smart watch that doesn’t

I also rebooted my Versa yesterday but that was because it was failing to sync yet again. It has tracked my sleep very well for over 2 years so I can only assume that the constant tinkering with the app (bug 'fixes') apparently and their backend server algorithms have gone wrong somewhere. It worked fine for a few weeks with the new firmware so I don't think it's that...

Thank you for you reply I’ll hold out hope that it used to work and they fix it 🤞🏼

Originally my Versa would track sleep properly. Now it seems to have given up - several months ago in fact. A real bummer because my sleep generally over the past few years is crap. I'm in my 70s now and have tried everything. Listening to music is a no-go as I am now a bi-lateral cochlear implantee and without being switched on (never during bedtime) I am completely deaf.

Thank you. I'll try that tonight. I must admit I don't like my Versa on too tightly. I'll follow up if it works.

Completely agree with you!  I have made the exact same change, from Charge 3 with absolutely no issues at all, to an expensive 'smart' watch to find it is far less accurate and more glitchy than the Charge 3 ever was!  Sleep tracking is just about non existent on the Versa 2, and either captures no sleep whatsoever, or shows around 4.5 hours of sleep a night!  Really, really disappointed that I wasted money on this TBH.

juster-jester : Seriously, try having the watch a little tighter around your wrist at night. Every time I forget to tighten up by one notch, I end up with no or partial sleep tracked.

I'm not much of a fan of my Versa, but it does track sleep ok...
